"HOP" is The #1 Movie

The Easter-themed animated movie “Hop” has laid golden eggs at the US Box-office charts this weekend. “Hop,” featuring the voice of Russell Brand, debuted on the top of the North American box office earning $38.1 million.

Jake Gyllenhaal‘s critically-acclaimed sci-fi thriller “Source Code” debuted at 32 with $15.1 million. Gyllenhaal’s character is part of a government experiment to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. Capturing the #3 position is the horror flick “Insidious.” The “haunted house” themed movie raked in a decent $13.5 million.
