Zac Efron Will not Return For High School Musical 4! For all those peeps that are excited by the news that High School Musical will return for it's 4th movie, you better get used to a new class at East High. *sigh* The current gang plans to move out and move on after they graduate in the upcoming High School Musical 3, set for an October 2008 release date in movie theaters. Teen Pop Heartthrob Zac Efron is looking forward to the latest movie as he tell People magazine, “It's our senior year, so we've got graduation and prom to look forward to. All fun things to have in a movie.” He also told MTV that this film would be his last, and that many of his co-stars share his sentiment.
At this point, it doesn’t seem that anybody, from Troy Bolton to Kelsi, has plans to return to East High for High School Musical 4. “This is probably going to be the last one for a lot of the cast,” Zac Efron admitted to his recent interview on MTV. “It’s graduation, a lot of us have to move on.” Besides Zac Efron, costars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens have feature films in the works.
